As practice and a challenge for myself, I chose a random character concept off of the internet this spring, and tried to create a 3D version of it. The concept I chose had no front/back/side view, but that was alright, I deluded myself into thinking that I wanted some freedom to interpret the shape in whatever way I chose to.
I feel like I learned a lot, and this project certainly exposed me to the things I need to improve. I'm happy with how it turned out, however.
Sculpted in Zbrush and retopologized in Maya, textured with 3Dcoat and Photoshop. Posed by me, to imitate the artwork I used.
